You think the Lions are not thinking about the postseason?
Don’t tell Ndamukong Suh that.
Tuesday the big man of the 4-6 club told the Detroit Free Press that he feels the playoffs are still very much a possibility.
“We’re still in the race,” he said Tuesday. “We made it a lot tougher than we did last year. It’s a tough position to be in, but it’s a hole that we dug ourselves in, and it’s something that we need to take care of if we want to get to the next level.
“This is a great way to get out of the hole and make some noise. People always say if you want to win a championship, this is the time to get hot.”
“Everybody’s beatable,” Suh said. “Obviously, Green Bay showed that (against Houston). We played a tough game against Green Bay. Unfortunately, we lost there, but we don’t take moral victories.
“It’s going to be a tough game, no matter what. And we look forward to the challenge. I personally love going against great running backs and passers and having an opportunity to stop that.”
Hmmm…again, this is a team that is 2 games under .500, and has one two-game winning streak to its name.
Unless they go on a HUGE run, this team will be talking draft picks in December, and not the postseason.
