Preseason: Week 3 Summary

Game 3 has passed and are we all satisfied with Detroit and their performance?

Although the Lions defeated New England 40-9. I’m not satisfied with their performance, and this is why.

All the scoring came from the back up offense. The starting offense has not showed they can be consistent or score. They have been held to nothing but fields goals. Pointless penalties have set them back, and Reggie Bush seems to be the whole offense. Reggie has been receiving the ball a bit too much if you ask me. Matthew Stafford needs to find wide receivers more.

The defense stepped up a little bit. I was impressed with the forced turnovers. Everything for the defense was executed well. The corners didn’t play as bad as they did in recent games.

We’re approaching the last preseason game and still have things to work on. This is the last game for every player to prove what they can do, and it’s the last game for fighting for positions. The 2-1 Lions will be visiting Ralph Wilson Stadium to play the 2-1 Buffalo Bills this Thursday. Stay tuned!
