Meet Our Staff

Anthony Kuehn – Site Editor

Anthony became a Lions fan at the age of nine when his home-state team selected Tony Mandarich instead of his favorite player, Barry Sanders. His allegiance immediately shifted to the Lions and hasn’t wavered since. Anthony was a frequent contributor to the SportingNews.com in its early days and more recently covered the Lions for the USAToday.com Blog Squad. Anthony bides his time on the offseason by heavily researching for the Free Agency period and the NFL Draft. As a self-made student of the game, he looks forward to sharing his knowledge and opinions with fellow football and Lion fans.

Matt Loede – Columnist

Matt has been in the sports media for over 15 years, with experience covering Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and of course, the National Football League. On NFL Sunday’s you can hear Matt on National networks like Fox Sports Radio, Associated Press, and other stations around the country. Matt also joined The Washington Post in 2009 as a guest columnist on league hot topics. Born and raised in Cleveland, Matt studies and talks football inside and out, and is anxious to share his thoughts and comments with readers on a daily basis.

David Gillikin – Columnist

David is an avid sports fan from Michigan and currently lives in Colorado. He has endured the Bobby Layne “curse” but still every year believes that they will win the Super Bowl. David is not insane, just optimistic. He has 2 sons living in North Carolina and a daughter who is still back in Michigan. David has seen the Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, all win championships, and believes that the Lions will one day prevail. Hopefully in his lifetime.

Todd Tennis – Columnist

Todd was born, raised, and still resides in Lansing, Michigan. Aside from a brief flirtation with the Miami Dolphins in his preschool years, he has been a commited Lions fan his entire life (and if there’s one thing Lions fans should be, it’s committed). He is a confessed addict of all things football, as his ex-wife will attest. A former tailback and fullback in high school, Todd has let his body become more “lineman-esque” over the years. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1993, and has served as an Ingham County Commissioner since 2007.
