The Lions drafted the first Army football player, Caleb Campbell, in 11 years, now he’s not going to play football in 2008. Not because of an injury or a holdout, but because the Army is reversing their stance on allowing him to serve out the remaining military service in Michigan and ordering him to return to the Army. Hopefully, when his military career is over he’ll get another shot at the NFL.
