Posted in Despite not playing a down yet in the NFL, rookie RB Kevin Smith is not being shy about making predictions. The Lions back said on Tuesday that the team is going to win a playoff game this season. “We will get to the playoffs this year, we will win a playoff game this year.” Smith evidently has not been following the fact that winning playoff games is not an easy thing to do in Detroit, as the team has won just one since 1957. Nevertheless, he joins QB Jon Kitna in the prediction department and now we’ll see if he can back it up.
