Lions Add Bodies to the Roster

With 15 losses in the can and one more to go before achieving “perfection,” the Lions are at least still trying.

Per a league source, the Lions on Tuesday made a successful waiver claim for former Dolphins receiver Chris Hannon, signed tackle Junius Coston, added linebacker Chris Graham to the practice squad, cut receiver Raymond Paul from the practice squad, visited with free-agent receiver Robert Ferguson, and placed linebacker Jordon Dizon and guard Edwin Mulitalo on injured reserve.

Not bad for a team that can’t stay within 35 points of a team that already had been eliminated from the playoffs.

The Lions finish the season with a trip to Lambeau Field and a game against the Packers, who have lost five in a row of their own.

But Detroit last won on the road against the Packers in 1991, the last game the Lions played in Wisconsin without Brett Favre as a member of the Packers.

So in this first Lambeau Field showdown since Favre was shipped out of town, could the Lions win?

If they do, we have a feeling that the Cheeseheads will dismantle the place, brick by brick.
