Lions at Saints Week 13 moved to Sunday Night

The December 4 meeting in Week 13 between the Lions and Saints at the Superdome has been flexed into prime time, the league announced on Monday.

Originally scheduled for a 1pm ET kickoff, Detroit-New Orleans replaces the Colts-Patriots match-up, which was moved to a 1pm ET kickoff earlier this month.

The game against the Saints will be the Lions’ third nationally-televised game of the season, and their second in prime time. The Lions’ official website notes that this will be the team’s first appearance on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
